What is 'The Circulogian,'

or, 'What is a Circulogian, Part II' Circulogian.com continues the fine tradition of circulogianism in all its various aspects as The Circulogian. The explanation in Part I was necessary to the previous sentence. (If you have not yet read Part I, please do so now). It is mocked up as if a newspaper, and while it may be a bad parody in many respects, so are the 'real' papers themselves. Face it. 'Serious journalism' is a thing of the past, despite all the 'seriousness' in which their opinions are presented and portrayed. We currently have only two columnists, one of whom has known the other for his entire life. (You can use your own circulogian powers to determine our relationship!) In other collaborative endeavors we have each acted as a primary sounding board for the other, off whom to bounce our various ideas before foisting them onto the world at large. We are like-minded, but not single-minded; our views are our own but often even when starting from different points we end up in the same place. It could be said there is a distinct circulogian quality to our relationship and it is not born entirely of the fact of having shared a bedroom for a decade or so. (And here, you thought you had correctly determined our relationship at the beginning of the last paragraph! Not so sure now, are you?) Each of us acts as an editorial consultant for the other and the symbiotic nature of our relationship allows that no one outside of ourselves can determine which of us said what or when precisely. For all anyone knows, neither of us really exists anyway, outside your own imagination, so we're not losing any sleep over it. The content of The Circulogian expresses the thoughts and opinions of its individual writers, both singularly and in plurality and is the sole property of the writers themselves. Your comments are fair game. Articles will have a by-line, indicated by our respective intitials and signifying the primary author. You will see mine below --that is if you have not yet already surfed your way to some other, perhaps more interesting point in cyber-space. We may be speaking of social, political or economic matters in all seriousness or just making up goofy social, political and economic or other stuff for our own entertainment. Perhaps you will be equally amused. But that is up to the circulogian in you, the reader, to determine which is which, and why. Hopefully this will add to the gruntle-ing of us all. We can't bear a disgruntled reader. -edSubmitted by Ed on Sun, 04/08/2007 - 12:00
